It is vital that we give back to our local community, so our goal is that for every $100 profit that we make, Love Bakes The World Go Round will donate one complete children’s birthday box to the Salvation Army. 

Birthday boxes usually contain a box of cake mix, frosting, candles, an aluminum pan, and a small birthday gift. A child’s birthday is an irreplaceable memory, and having their own cake is a vital part of that special day. Unfortunately, for a struggling family this can be too great of an expense - but no child should be left without a birthday cake.

There are very few options in our area to assist families in financial crisis with their children’s birthdays. Currently there are no chapters of Icing Smiles or Cakes for Kids serving the Queensbury area. As such, the Salvation Army’s birthday boxes offer one of the only ways to ensure poverty does not get in the way of a local child’s birthday. We are so excited to offer some support! Hopefully this is just the beginning.
